Photographer's Statement:

This photo represents the theme “healthy tree, healthy me” because the thin paper in every book comes from trees. When I have free time, my nose is in a good book. Books can take me out of the reality of the world, all the drama, the pain, the stress and the fear go away when I’m reading. Books take me places that know how to make me smile or laugh. The characters can speak to me in deeper ways and help me better understand situations that are happening in my life. The highlight of my day is always the few minutes a day I get to indulge in reading a good book!
