Photographer's Statement:

Lives move in cycles, we all have ups and downs. I’ve always related this to how trees also move in cycles. During the summer and spring they bloom and are beautiful, but in fall they wilt and “die”. Just like humans. We have moments in our lives where we have over the moon, and moments where we feel hopeless. I think that trees can be a giant inspiration that nothing is permanent. A tree will eventually bloom, just as we as humans will. The image I submitted shows how while we share little biology with trees, we aren’t so different, we both live in cycles.
