Winter is a time of renewal and rest, hence why trees lose their leaves and color. It is often glamorized in photography, and I wanted to show that simple branches can still be part of an impactful image. I utilized a shallow depth of field paired with strong color contrast of the branches and sky to evoke feelings of simplicity and peace.
