Now that winter has gone away, the Treasure Valley has come to life with the vibrant spring flowers have begun to bloom!

Photographer's Statement:

Idaho is a unique state that experiences drastically different seasons, with varying plants and colors. In winter, trees lose their leaves and flowers lose their color, leaving the landscapes looking more bare and bland than in the fall. Although they are still beautiful, they lack the variety of color that brings life to nature. Once flowers and trees begin to regain their colors and leaves, it makes Idaho look more vibrant and lively after winter has passed. This photo relates to the theme because it encapsulates the beauty of nature unique to the spring season through the vibrant pink flower and thriving green flower stems and leaves in the background.
