Seasons of Change: The Dynamics of Idaho’s Forests, means to me the complex beauty of which nature brings to us. When we look into the tiny aspects of life, such as the petit yellow stigma of the flower, or the beaming purple petals, we can capture the hidden treasures that lie beneath. Whether it is a bee finding its pollen, a small gift for someone in need, flowers bring joy to all living things just by their presence and beauty. I learn from this theme that we as humans must also indulge in the seasons of change. Instead of hiding from the winter cold such as flowers do, be the blooming visions of spring in someone else’s life, the radiant joy to those all around you. It is a mystery how a beautiful presence can transform all the seasons of our change.
