Blossoming into Adolescence
Photographer's Statement:
Growing up, we had two giant Japanese Cherry Blossom trees in our front yard. I remember running to our neighbors’ houses and knocking on their doors telling them to come over so that we could make potions with the petals. Once we moved away when I was eleven, we didn’t have the same neighbors or the beautiful pink trees. The season of blossoms only lasted for about a week, which always went by in a flash. Leaving childhood and coming into adolescence, I look back and remember the fun times with our neighbors, and all the fun times, which have now faded to just memories.
