Trekking along in mountains of Scotchman Peaks, I was able to really focus and enjoy the nature surrounding me. I spotted many wild flowers: larkspurs, large flower clarkia, and trilliums were a couple of the species sighted.  There were also many fallen trees, maybe pushed down with the wind or killed by disease or beetles. I loved hiking there, with my mom, exploring on the Idaho/ Montana state line.
